The Pain Of Rejection

Nobody likes to feel rejected. But this does happen in life. When working a program of recovery, rejection can happen time and time again. Try not to be offended. This is your program of recovery. Nobody has the right to live your recovery. Learn to live with those who criticize you by listening to what they say. Constructive criticism can lead you a long way. Nobody knows what you have been through. It is your decision whether or not to tell your story. Your story of addiction may bring hope to someone someday. You are blessed to be alive today. There is a purpose to your life. It may not be known to you quite yet. Your life is purpose driven. Sit back and think of all the reasons you have to share your recovery story. You are a storyteller. Your story will make a difference in the life of another human being. Your story will save a life. When you feel rejected, that is when you must reach out. Never ever give up hope. Live your life with a purpose driven life.
