Wherever You Are In Your Journey

Wherever you are in your recovery, you are at a point of new discovery. You are exactly where you need to be. When you need help and encouragement, just reach out to those who can help you. Pick up an inspirational book and read it. Try not to wallow in your despair. Take a college class that may interest you. Surprise yourself with a positive change in mind. You were made with a purpose in mind. God wants you to use your full potential. What does your full potential look like to you? Everyone has a different potential in this life. What healthy lifestyle would make you happy? Making healthy choices can be difficult. You can do it. Learn to change negative thoughts into positive ones. You will not receive a purple heart for winning your battles. What you will receive is satisfaction knowing that you have conquered your addiction. You will go through struggles. These struggles will help strengthen your willpower to say no. Saying no is one of the hardest things you will face on your journey of recovery. Just think about the consequences. The consequences are not a pretty sight to behold. If you say no, you will undertake a journey of healthy recovery. That is truly what your heart desires.
