Proverbs 3: 5-7

The following bible verse is from the Life Recovery Bible. Proverbs 3:5-7. Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom and turn away from evil. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil.

When those of us lived in the sin of addiction, having trust in anyone let alone the Lord was difficult. Trusting in the Lord becomes easier when we are able to let go of our sinful nature. Living in recovery helps us to open up to the Lord with all our mind, body, and soul. When you are able to pour out your difficulties to the Lord, you heart will be open to a new life of hope and healing. Do not try to recover from your addiction on your own. First of all, you need God in your life. If you seek him first, he will direct you in the path you should go. The Lord’s direction will never fail you. He knows of the great plans he has for you.His great plans for you can only be accomplished when you turn away from the evils of addiction. Let go and let God show you a better way to live addiction free.
