Hosea 6: 1-3 The Lord Brings Restoration

The following bible verse is from the The Life Recovery Bible by Tyndale House NLT. Hosea 6:1-3. “Come, Let us return to the Lord. He has torn us to pieces; now he will heal us. He has injured us, now he will bandage our wounds. In short time he will restore us, so that we may live in his presence. Oh, that we might know the Lord! Let us press on to know him. He will respond to us surely as the arrival of dawn or the coming of rains in early spring.” If you look closely at the words of these verses, you will find hope in your recovery. When we return to the Lord he will bring us restoration and peace. We first come to the Lord broken and torn into pieces. Our earthly vessels are shattered with addiction and sin. The addiction is self inflicted. Yet when we come to the foot of the cross, the Lord will restore us. He is the ultimate healer who bandages our wounds. But there has to be a willingness to change. We have to get to know the Lord as the restorer of life. Believe that you can be healed from your addiction. Don’t just say…I want to be healed. Dig in to the healing words the bible has to offer you. When you get to know the Lord daily, you will find the hope to press on in your recovery. The Lord will respond to your pleas. But you must press on and never give up hope in your recovery.
