Psalm 55:1-2

Psalm 55:1-2 from The Life Recovery Bible House Publishers, Inc 1998. Listen to my prayer, O God. Do not ignore my cry for help! Please listen and answer me, for I am overwhelmed by my troubles. These two short verses are very powerful verses. These verses show the true desperation of the life of an addict before hitting rock bottom. The cries and pleas for help are real to those who are addicted. Those in full blown addiction may not realize the downward spiral they are in. They may have exhausted all their family support systems. When there is a loss of support, nothing matters in life for the addict. There is a lack of direction. But there is always hope for lost and weary souls. Celebrate Recovery brings help for those who are seeking answers for some of life’s most difficult questions. When Celebrate Recovery is combined with Psychiatric or Psychological intervention, a powerful tool is given to those in crisis. Slowly patterns of addictive thinking change. A fresh new outlook on life can be a reachable goal. No matter what problem you face. Realize that there is always hope. There is always an answer.
