What’s In Your Jar?

We have all heard the saying….Is your glass half empty or half full. Are you living half heartedly or fully embracing your recovery? I have to tell myself…….Tonight no matter how cold it is outside….I have to go to my Celebrate Recovery meeting. I found an interesting article about an idea called the happiness jar. This jar is normally started on the first day of the New Year. You fill the jar with slips of papers about what made you happy during the year and then at the end of the year you read the slips of paper. I am going to take it a few steps further. I’ll write the date on the paper and little bible verses on the paper. At the end of the year, you can look back at the words, the moments, and the bible verses that inspired you throughout this year. Grab a jar and fill it up with 365 bits of inspiration to recover by.
