Living a life of happiness may be hard for those in recovery. For the past month I have been exploring the concept of happiness in my life. There have been ups and downs in my life. I have been mainly up. I have been reading a book called The Happiness Dare by Jennifer Dukes Lee. This book is a book that is written in easy to understand terms. It helps you to understand your happiness style through a little assessment. The book opens the readers eyes to the little things in life that can bring happiness into your life. What can you do to bring healthy happiness into your life? Sometimes this may not be easy to do if you have only experienced unhappy memories. As the saying goes……This too shall pass. Start out small. Look around you. Take baby steps to find the happiness that you desire. Happiness may come and go but it is the lasting impact that we all desire. You cannot be happy all the time but you can try. Start by reading The Happiness Dare. It will help you to recover your happiness once again.
